What you need to know about Malawi visas
Malawi requires a visa for Swedish citizens. Since 2015 everything is handled via the e-visa portal evisa.gov.mw — the visa is delivered digitally as a PDF that you print and bring at entry.
The e-visa form is a 4-step ASP.NET form requiring detailed information about travel, accommodation and prior trips. DOX fills out the entire form for you and monitors the case until the visa is approved.
Malawi does NOT require yellow fever vaccination for Swedes arriving directly from Sweden — but if you transit via Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya or Zambia a yellow card is required. DOX checks your route and guides you.
E-visa only — no visa-on-arrival
Malawi does not accept visa-on-arrival for Swedish citizens. You must apply for an e-visa BEFORE departure via evisa.gov.mw. DOX handles the entire process for you.
