Stockholm Chamber of Commerce

Stockholm Chamber of Commerce — certificates of origin and stamps, without the trip

Need a certificate of origin, an invoice or an agreement certified by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce? We check the documents, submit them to the chamber and — if the receiving country requires it — take them on to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the embassy.

Good to know: DOX Visumpartner is not the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. We are an independent legalisation company in Stockholm that submits documents on your behalf. Looking for membership, training or the arbitration institute? Visit chamber.se.

What the chamber certifies

The chamber's stamp confirms that a document comes from a Swedish company, or where the goods originate. Many countries outside the EU require it on export documents.

Certificate of origin

Certifies the country the goods originate from. Required by many countries outside the EU on import, often together with the invoice.

Invoices and trade documents

Commercial invoices, price lists, packing lists and similar export documents the receiving country wants stamped.

Agreements and company documents

Agency and distribution agreements, powers of attorney and other documents signed by a Swedish company.

Frequently asked questions

Are you the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce?

No. DOX Visumpartner is an independent legalisation company in Stockholm. We submit documents to the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce on behalf of companies and individuals, and handle the rest of the chain (the Ministry and the embassy) when it is needed.

What does it cost?

You see a fixed price before you order. The chamber's fee is included. If you are not sure what the document needs, upload it to our free document check and we send you a fixed price.

How long does it take?

The chamber's part normally takes 2–5 working days. If the document also needs legalising by the Ministry and the embassy, their processing time is added — you get an estimate when you order.

Does the document also need the Ministry and the embassy?

It depends on the receiving country. Many countries in the Middle East require the whole chain: the chamber, the Ministry and the country's embassy. We find out what applies and handle every step.

We're not in Stockholm — can you still help?

Yes. Most of our customers send their documents by post or courier, from all over Sweden and from abroad.

Does your company order often?

A framework agreement gives you agreed prices, invoices with your reference and cost centre, and a customer number everyone at your company can order with. Free of charge, no minimum volume.
